She Told Me

She read her story out of a book.
Telling me, if I wanted to have a life like hers,
Do four things,
Live, Love, Fly, and cry

She told me,
Cry, because you’re happy
Cry, because you’re sad
Cry, because you’re alive
Cry, because you can

She told me
Love and risk it all
Love till it hurts
Love till you can’t stop
Love until you die.

She told me,
Fly till the end is near
Fly till you reach the stars
Fly till you feel yourself dancing to the rhythm of the wind

She told me,
If I did all of that,
I damn sure better be living a life worthwhile,
Living for me,
Living to be
Somebody I’m proud of being.

You’re Lies and My Truth

Do you see what I see?
A person who makes me belong
Someone who I can count on
Be Myself around
The one and only person I can trust.

With one flash everything changes,
The Person who made me belong, betrayed me
Went behind my back and stabbed right threw my beating heart,
As I hit the floor, my heart stopped.
Feeling hurt and wishing this was all a dream,
All I want to do is wake up.

I blame myself day and night
Wondering if I had done something to deserve this,
Or was it you who was wrong?
Did you blind me when I tried to see the light?
Hide me from what was right?
And use me for your own wrongs?

Did you care about me?
Mean everything you said?
Or were they lie's too?
When you came and said sorry,
Ask me to forgive you,
I did, but I was wrong.
Now I don’t know the difference between your lies and truth.

Every time someone mentions you,
I feel my heart crumbling into nothing,
But then I realize,
You were the past
And not my future
There’s always a reason why you never make it to my future,
You are someone meant to stay back, while I continue on,

I have more than the world,
And you have less than your own life,
There will always be a difference between your lies and my truth.

L.O.V.E

Every time he walks through the door,
I start shivering.
When he looks at me
My Heart starts pounding.

The Way he picks me up
Spins me around,
Looks me in the eye,
And tells me he loves me
I know it’s true.

I laugh when he tries to impress me,
Cry, when I want attention,
And appreciate the care I receive
I know I love him to!

Love?
The Big L.O.V.E word is such a big deal.
It’s a word that everyone wants to hear,
Something we all want to here,
Experience!

Everyone wants to be loves,
It’s something we all need,
I know I do.

Some people use I Love You, as another casual word,
But the way we express it, is different!

Life Goes On

You’re lost deep within yourself,
Scared of being alone
Wondering what’s happening
All you can do is cuddle in a corner
Hoping and wishing someone, somewhere is looking for you

You start fading,
Screaming for someone to find you
Your voice slowly starts to disappear

You can see,
See everything that’s happening
You were nothing but a memory
A memory you wish never to relive again
Something you just want to forget,
But every time you close your eyes,
It’s there.

What happed before wasn’t your fault
What is I can’t forget?
What if I end up getting hurt again?
But then I remember, I changed
I have a chance to live the way I want,
My Life Will Go On.
